Peterson identified the requirement to review Quayside Operations with a view to increasing efficiencies, streamlining performance and maximising benefits to our clients
The outcome was to develop an application which will encompass all aspects of our Quayside Operation and result in an intuitive system which will incorporate our health and safety controls, our clients’ needs and will enable Peterson to provide consistent, compliant and safe base operations services around the world
•Client input of Load Lists and Cargo Manifests
•Transport notifications and arrival at quay reporting
•Outbound and Inbound Cargo Inspection
•Outbound Vessel Loading and deck planning
•Inbound Vessel Discharging
•Cargo dispatch - SEPA notes and Consignment notes Creation
Direct input of Voyage Load Lists and Cargo Manifests allowing multiple revisions to be updated and sent, real time, to our centralised database with instant notifications generated. This removes the need for multiple emails, reducing network traffic and guaranteeing the latest version is the version our operators are working from at all times.
The “always available” progress portal allows your Logistics teams both on and offshore uninterrupted access to view how your job is progressing. As we lift across the quayside, you will see the data in real time updating the voyage screen broken down in to the categories of lift you may wish to monitor.
Instant notifications will be sent to our clients when issues arise. For example, a failed inspection at Cargo Inspection will generate an alert for instant handling thus optimising the time for issue resolution prior to vessel sail.
A web technology, eCargo can be integrated with our clients systems allowing for end to end management of the logistics process.
