<< Click to Display Table of Contents >> View voyage |
The header of the view voyage screen shows general information about the voyage:
The header comes in several variants. The information is adjusted for the following situations:
- In a vessel sharing situation the Customer is not displayed;
- the description of the date is different depending on the direction of the voyage and on the status of the voyage:
Direction / Status |
Active |
Completed |
Outbound |
Due for loading |
Loaded |
Inbound |
Due for discharging |
Discharged |
The dates when the voyage is active can be changed in the Voyage details section. The date at completion is set when the departure mail (outbound) or the discrepancy report (inbound) is sent.
The remainder of the screen is divided in separate sections.
A newly created voyage doesn't have any progress because there are no lines/items on which to show progress.
When the voyage has some activities stored against it, it will show the following information:
•The status of the voyage;
•The number of lifts already lifted / The total number of lifts, the number of ROB items;
•The number of priority lifts already lifted / The total number of priority lifts;
•The number of heavy lifts already lifted / The total number of heavy lifts;
•The number of dangerous lifts already lifted / The total number of dangerous lifts;
•The deck utilisation;
•If applicable, the amount of lines which do not have a unit type.
When hovering over the deck utilisation you get information on the utilisation breakdown:
The utilisation breakdown is splitted in two sections:
1. In the top section the percentage is splitted between the type of cargo and the reserved area;
2. In the below section the percentage is splitted between the offshore installations and the reserved area.
The actions section provides additional option related to the voyage. When the option is not available the button is greyed out.
The button voyage details provides the information on Sailing date, Vessel and Voyage number. The information provided during the creation of the voyage can be updated here. If you make any changes confirm them by clicking on Change Details. |
In the attached files section you can upload documentation related to the voyage. During voyage completion Peterson will also upload information related to the activities performed by them. Click on Upload a file to add a new file. A normal explorer screen will open in which you can navigate to the file you wish to upload. When you have confirmed the file to upload the system will add it to the application. The filename is displayed in the screen. Furthermore, the amount of files will be displayed and will automatically recalculate when the amount changes. The delete button enables you to remove the file again.
After the voyage is completed for users with the role Customers it is not longer possible to upload a file or delete the previously attached files. For a user with the role CustomerEdit it is possible to upload additional files even if the voyage has been completed. |
Any special instructions can be entered under the Special Notes button. You can use this for example to provide additional directives for loading or discharging. When you click on this button a popup screen is displayed: Enter the instruction you like and press Save. |
This section provides an overview of all offshore installations that are linked to the voyage. Initially the installation provided during the creation of the voyage is available. You can add installations to this list. This will also be done automatically when you add cargo to an installation that is not yet part of the voyage.
In this section you can also add the manifest number for the specific offshore installation:
A newly created voyage doesn't have any recent events because no cargo list and / or material details have been submitted yet.
When the voyage has some events stored against it, it will show the following information:
•Cargo list change - when a new revision is submitted;
Major versions are created from submitting from the main edit screen and minor revisions are created from other changes such as entering the weight categories.
•Lift Event - Lifting has started or finished;
•Failed inspection - when upon inspection of the cargo item a problem has been found.
In the section ‘recent events’ it is possible to see the last 10 activities in the voyage.
The cargo list section displays information on the cargo and material details linked to the voyage. Next to the header two buttons are available:

Edit |
In order to enter and/or update the information click on Edit. This will open the Edit (Load/Discharge) List screen. Availability of this option is dependent on the status of the voyage and the roles of the user. Voyage status = completed and User role = customers: The button is replaced by a button 'View', which allows you to view all details of the entered cargo and material details without the option to edit the data. Voyage status = completed and User role = customerEdit: Both a 'View' and 'Edit' button are available. The Edit on completed voyages will give you a subset of the information entered on deck and bulk cargo level. Only the customs status is editable. On the material details tab all fields are editable. |
After information for an installation has been submitted a tab in the view voyage screen becomes available. When you select such a tab and then continue to Edit lines the filter will be set to this installation automatically.
In the view voyage screen the cargo items are shown in the sequence they were entered. The only possibility you have is to select one of the offshore installations to show only cargo for that installation.
The following information is displayed:
A cargo item can be marked with different images to indicate that it is different from the normal cargo. The indication is visible in the last column and four buttons expresses the difference:
Within edit lines you have the possibility to indicate if a cargo item is Remain On Board (ROB). When a cargo item is marked as ROB the line will be highlighted in green and within the lifted weight column is displayed ROB:
